An Autobiographical Narrative: The Venerable Bhante Dharmawara

The Venerable Bhante Dharmawara is known to many of us as a teacher of meditation, specializing in color meditation and healing. From 1973 to 1976 Bhante was invited by Mr. Bennett to teach yearly at the International Academy for Continuous Education at Sherborne House in England. He has also taught Vipassana meditation courses at Claymont Court, as well as at many locales throughout the world. In honor of Bhante’s 1OOth birthday, which he celebrated at Claymont Court with over 150 friends, we are publishing this autobiographical narrative. (Published in Impression, Summer 1989)
